I love the following article and find the snarkiness within to be exactly what this “inquiring mind” deserved and honestly, probably more than what she was served.
I salute you SAHMs (Stay@Home Moms for the uninitiated). It’s a hard, hard, HARD job.
And to be honest, I think that this article includes what working moms feel and go through too. Although, it doesn’t mention the underlying current of guilt that so often working moms struggle with that adds to the complexity of what it means to be a mother and what it means “to work.”
And thank goodness I don’t live in Tacoma, WA, or currently have any friends that live in Tacoma, WA…because I would give them a tongue-lashing inquiry through and through whether this was them.
