We took Ada on her second annual candy extravaganza…aka…Halloween Adventure 2009. First we stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Dachtler’s to show Grandpa Terry our edible family.
She LOVES dogs. I’m pretty sure I’ve said it before and it certainly hasn’t changed any. However, any pug she calls “MoMo” and any medium sized dog, regardless of color, hairiness, breed or size for that matter (disregard what I said before) is most certainly “Abe.”
This year…if you’re not creative enough to figure it out…we were a delicious dish! Sushi, ginger and wasabi!
We went trick-or-treating around the Grand Cities Mall and attended Hopeaween at the church. The church is in the mall, so it was easy and fun…Ada was mesmerized by all the costumes and people!
There’s also a pet store in the mall and they had these two pugs in the front…A lady pug and a Bee Pug. The minute Ada saw “oo MoMos” (translation: Two Moseses…can I pluralize Moses?) she never wanted to leave.
When we could finally pry her away, the Mall was way to crowded so we left to Grandma and Grandpa Dachtler’s again. Grandma Sheila took her trick-or-treating around Columbia Court.
Which she loved.
By the end of the night she got quite the haul and had become quite possessive of her rice bag full of candies.
She also now knows what a Tootsie Roll wrapper looks like and what it means…
